Artha
(artha) in Nepal is loosely used to mean both Finance as
well as Economics while in Sanskrit it means wealth and one of the four
goals of life.
Beed pronounced
(vid) is used to mean an
expert. BEED here is used as an acronym for
Business,
Enterprise,
Economy and
Development; the four key areas that the columnist
likes to delve upon. The Beed delves into issues not from an orthodox
economist' perspective with mathematical models, but more as an observer
of issues that affect the functioning of business and economy.
The column
Economic Sense by Arthabeed appears every fortnight
